maybel“You are hilarious”! That was the soothing manner in which a gospel music lover and fan of Maybelle Boma described the up-and-coming singer. The said fan was reacting to Maybelle’s latest and mouth-watering video, now hitting the headlines especially on social media. Still expressing uncontrollable excitement, another admirer of Covered By The Blood, the said track, commented in simple terms: “You made my day”.

After watching the 4.38 minutes-long video, it is easy to go by the previous speaker’s comment. Covered By The Blood does not only vehicle a deep and consoling message to convicted Christians, but the video offers an immeasurable pleasure when you view its colour, listen to the soul-searching melody and appreciate the finesse of the editing.

Now, two things give Maybelle’s latest artistic story its unbeatable flavour: one – the costume and two – the choreography. “The gorgeous outfit in which I and my dancers are clad in is the handiwork of Fruwah Boma, my kid sister who resides in Korea and is specialized in the fashioning of the toughe,” Maybelle told TIPTOPSTARS editor when we reached the gospel music star to know more about her latest video.

“Then the kid dancers, they are such a talented and wonderful pair…” we put. “Oh yes, they are my nieces who have discovered their talent at tender ages and are ready to explore these skills to the fullest,” the New York-based singer revealed. “Bella Achu, dark in complexion is 10, while fair-complexioned Bella Reina is 9, they are an amazing set of hope-rising artists and it would interest you to know that they bracing to get into movies as actresses,” Maybelle revealed further.

Produced by Triple V Entertainment, Covered By The Blood is the first track in Mighty God, Maybelle’s 2012 hit album that is currently circulating in Africa and other parts of the globe. The video is shot in New York.

Meantime, the gospel music heroine is back in the studio to record a much-awaited single, Highly Blessed and Favoured. “It will be released in April,” Maybelle announced. Styled Africa gospel, Maybelle’s songs and videos have been highly acclaimed and even when an observer mentioned that “I love all your videos”, the former was just being honest.

Generally known to be a committed promoter of the Cameroonian talents, Maybelle Boma is also the Executive Producer of the Cameroon Entertainment Awards, CEA whose maiden edition held on July 28, 2012. The second edition will take place in August this year.
